Researchers revealed a total of 172 infected apps on the
Play store last September; the crisis lays in the installation number that
these apps racked up over 335 million installs by the time they were
discovered.
The experts declared that the Adware estimated for a
staggering 300,600,000 installs; meanwhile, other malware found on Play store
include subscription spam, hidden ads, and SMS premium subscription software.
According to Lucas Stefanko, most of these infected apps are
not available on Google Play anymore.
Until the big cleaning day, be careful of what type of
software you download and double-check the developer background before you click
install.
